There are many ways to improve the sales and overall production of your outbound telemarketing, wherein telemarketers initiate the calls to your prospects or clients. Some of the tips on how to be successful may be summarized into one paragraph, but by doing so, they are only giving you half of what you should need to know. But let me tell you one thing that can make your call successful and here’s it is:
YOU SHOULD MAKE THE FIRST FEW SECOND COUNTS
The first few second of a phone call determine whether the prospect is interested or not. But of course, it doesn’t mean that after that few second, the call doesn’t matter anymore. To be honest, the call already matter when the prospect answered it. So it doesn’t matter if you can make the call last for a minute or so, what’s important is that you are able to say what you want.
The first few second is crucial, that’s a fact, but there’s one thing you should need to know. Stating your product or service at that very moment isn’t really necessary. Why? To be honest, when I get that call. I’ll hang up. If you don’t know the proper usage or way of communicating over the phone. The Greeting must come first.
YOU SHOULD HAVE A SCRIPT, BUT DON’T STICK WITH IT
Here’s the thing about the script, you don’t need it if you have already memorized it. If you sound scripted, means that you’re only going to read it, which mean a bore for us, prospects.
