Lead Generation is a process of gathering inquiries from prospects and increase interests of buyers. After gathering leads, you qualify them based on their ability and desire to purchase your products or services.
Although Lead generation is only for B2B marketing business, it also can be applied in B2C businesses, mostly when a high price is involved.
Let’s be honest, from all those Tips about lead Generation, one thing is for sure, It won’t work if you don’t know what they’re talking about. But nevertheless, it still gives you some ideas about how to generate leads. But let me just tell you or share to you some ideas I got from reading all those Tips.
KNOWLEDGE IS JUST A FRACTION IN LEAD GENERATING
There are parts when knowledge can be useful and parts where it isn’t. Knowledge about prospects, their company, and motive are one thing you should know before you will act, but there’s the catch. Nowadays we don’t even think our prospects motive or their true intention, we are solely aimed for sales. Knowledge about their true intention might help you generate leads, but not generate sales.
EXPERIMENTING CAN BE ONLY DONE IF YOU HAVE A LOT OF EXPERIENCE WITH GENERATING LEADS
There are some cases that experimenting can generate you leads, but it doesn’t mean that you should always experiment. Why? Because it’s just luck, and chances are you won’t get any leads after that.
ACT FAST OR STEP ASIDE
“If you can’t act fast, then just step aside”
This is the words of my mentor in lead generating, although he doesn’t quite get to his quota of getting leads, he, on the other hand, make it upon himself to better himself.
In lead generating, you don’t really have to make it upon yourself to have 100 leads in just a month, all you have to do is just make relationships with other business owners.
